Join us for Earth Day and celebrate with the hardest working pollinators on the planet - BEES! Jan Pinkerton Spieth, from the Mt. Diablo Beekeepers Association will share her knowlege and expertise about the facinating world of bees. Our very kid-friendly event will include an observation hive on display, educational materials, local honey tasting, and MEET A REAL QUEEN BEE!

Register for MDBA President Jan Pinkerton Spieth's in-depth talk at 11:30am about the incredible work bees do to turn nectar into honey, a bee hive’s yearly cycles, what is a swarm, and much more. This event is held in tandem with Sustainable Lafayette’s Earth Day Festival in the Lafayette Plaza Park, taking place Sunday, April 21st from 11am-2pm.
